Tehran's Carbon Monoxide Twice Standard Level

Iran, November 16, 1999 (Tehran Times) The Air Quality Control Company
(AQCC) announced yesterday that the density of the air pollutant of the Tehran's
weather reached twice the permitted standard level Tuesday morning and Monday
night.
Carbon monoxide was among the pollutant which had a great increase yesterday.
According to AQCC the increase is because of low wind speed and stagnation of the atmosphere. The wind speed has decreased in comparison to the previous days.
